EnvisionRxOptions, a wholly owned subsidiary of Rite Aid and parent of EnvisionRx announced that Dan Robson, a 30-year veteran of the pharmaceutical industry and member of the EnvisionRxOptions family, was appointed president of the pharmacy benefits and services company. He will lead all aspects of EnvisionRxOptions' operations. This includes pharmacy benefit management (PBM) companies EnvisionRx and MedTrakRx, mail and specialty pharmacies through EnvisionPharmacies, commercial and Medicare-approved prescription drug plans through EnvisionInsurance, end of life pharmacy care through HospiceRx, claims processing technology through LakerSoftware, prescription discount programs for under and uninsured patients through EnvisionSavings, and fertility savings through EnvisionFertility.

Dan most recently served as president of EnvisionRxOptions’ subsidiary MedTrakRx where he started as general manager of sales in 2016. “Through his leadership of MedTrakRx and previous healthcare industry experience, Dan has proven his expertise in the industry, dedication to clients and vision for growth into the future,” commented Heyward Donigan, CEO Rite Aid.
Prior to his leadership at MedTrakRx, Dan served as the chief business development officer at Physicians Reference Laboratory, LLC where he led operations, marketing and sales teams, as well as clinical trials for hospitals and physician clinics. He also held roles at Pfizer and Bristol-Myers Squibb. He holds an MBA in business from Baker University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in business from Kansas State University.
